Nikki Sixx is one busy dude. Aside from wrapping the two year final farewell tour with Motley Crue, he also has a radio show, and has managed to stay involved with this other band, ‘Sixx A.M.’ This week, Nikki, DJ Ashba, and his other band mates released their new single titled “Rise”, and they gave us details on a new double album slated for a April 29th release.

The new double album is titled ‘Prayers From The Damned Volume 1’, and Nikki told ‘Classic Rock’ that he’s excited for the new music. “Sixx A.M. is in the most creative place of our careers”, said Sixx, “For James, DJ and myself, we think it’s the perfect time to release so much quality music to our fans who’ve been supporting us over the last three albums.”  The band is also launching a new tour, and plans on dates in the U.K., and the States later in the year.
