So I looked it up. You can either RING in the new year or BRING in the new year, both are accurate and acceptable. But either way, you must do it in 80’s style with Peoria’s classic rock station for the past couple dozen years, 95.5, GLO.
Celebrate the new year with our all 80’s special, Pour Some 80’s On Me, beginning at midnight New Year’s Eve and continuing through Monday night on New Year’s Day. We crank out the 80’s rockers and one hit wonders. Enjoy huge chunks of Van Halen, Def Leppard, Scorpions, Ozzy, The Crue, etc.
During our special “Pour,”, we break from our usual lineup of classic rock icons a bit to play the songs of the Big 80’s, the MTV era, the Decade of Decadence. You’ll still hear so many of our core, GLO classic rock bands like: Guns N’ Roses, The Cars, Queen, AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Aerosmith, Foreigner, U2, etc., but we’ll also play songs you don’t usually hear on GLO.
