He’s been called the top magician on the planet, and who am I to argue? David Blaine is coming to the Peoria Civic Center Saturday at 8 pm for what will surely be a mind-blowing experience for the audience.
Tickets are still available – though going fast I’m told – at the box office and through Ticketmaster, and Tim and I have pairs to give away this week, through Thursday afternoon. I’ll also have a pair of tickets in Row A to give away Thursday on my afternoon show.
David Blaine is a master illusionist, street-magician-on-steroids, and endurance artist. It’s his crazy endurance tests that have garnered the most attention around the world. He’s starred in nine prime time TV specials.
Far as I can tell, Blaine’s nutz! He’s done some many freaky tricks over the years. I first saw him on TV years ago, levitating on the streets of New York. He’s been buried alive in a water tank for an inhuman amount of time. He’s been frozen in a block of ice in Times Square, stood on a high pilliar in NYC for 35 hours, dangled over the River Thames in London for 44 fasting days! He holds or has broken many world endurance records.
