REO Speedwagon, our home state band, is coming back to play Peoria. The band from the Heart of Illinois returns on Friday night, September 15, at the Civic Center. Tickets go on sale Friday (3/17) morning at 10 O’clock at the box office and through Ticketmaster. Here’s the ticket range: $49.50, $59.50, $79.50.
Lead singer Kevin Cronin, keyboardist Neal Doughty and bassist Bruce Hall remain in the lineup ever since their hit-making run in the 70’s and 80’s. You’ll have a chance to hear all those memorable songs from your formative days, back when East Peoria’s Gary Richrath was cranking out solos in his role as lead guitarist and co-song writer for REO Speedwagon.
