Prior to their first Peoria appearance a few years ago, we were told by their promoters that the American Led Zeppelin, Get The Led Out, will draw bigger crowds with each successive visit. Word will get out about how true to the music they are. The promoters weren’t wrong.
GTLO’s third Peoria performance on, appropriately enough, 3/3, Friday, at the Peoria Civic Center Theater, is selling very well. Snap up your tickets now for the group of six veteran Philadelphia musicians who are so much more than a cover band.
These guys don’t try to adapt English accents. They don’t dress like Page, Plant, JPJ and Bonzo or don wigs, but they sure do sound like them. GTLO loves Zeppelin as much as you do, and that shows in their energetic, passionate presentation.
They SOUND like you’re listening to your Zeppelin records, but with the intensity having it lovingly delivered to your ears live. They focus on the early Zeppelin material and also do a stellar acoustic set. The set list varies each time.
Tickets are available as of this writing at the box office and through Ticketmaster. And listen to Tim and my shows from now until Thursday, March 2 to win our finals pairs from Nitelight Promotions and Peoria’s only Zeppelin station, 95.5, GLO.
