The NFL football season concludes this weekend with the big game. The event is so large that even my Peoria Sunday night mens hockey league refuses to schedule against it, so I’m free to watch without missing a game.
In case you haven’t listened to my show, I’m a big Tom Brady honk, though most of the country probably wants to see him face plant during the pregame introductions. This would be Brady’s fifth big game victory, BTW, and the Patriots are favored to do so. Also, the Pats are wearing white jerseys, and the team wearing white jerseys is 11-1 in this magnified game.
Whether you’re hosting or attending a party on Sunday, you’d best prep in advance and stock up on Bud Light and munchies at Schnucks on Court Street in Pekin with me Saturday, noon til 2 p.m. Schnucks will have in-store samples, and I’ll have some new, white GLO t-shirts, because you’re a winner, too. They also have a Pizza Walk in their bakery and specials on everything you’ll need for maximum party enjoyment.
