
Last spring, Deep Purple finally got inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This year, Deep Purple and Alice Cooper will co-headline a brief, North American tour – the Long Goodbye Tour – and play in Chicago and St. Louis in September. Another classic rock legend, Edgar Winter, will open for them.
Deep Purple drops its new studio album, “Infinite,” on April 7.
The Long Goodbye Tour starts in Vegas in mid-August and runs for about a month in the U.S. They’ll play outdoors at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheaters in Chicago on September 6 and in St. Louis n September 8. Tickets on sale to the public on Friday, Feb. 3, through Live Nation. And there’s a special pre-sale beginning at noon on Wednesday, Feb 1, for American Express cardholders.
