Whether you made a New Year’s resolution to get more active or not, don’t start your new year in inside hibernation. Get outdoors and come downtown Peoria to ice skate at Peoria’s newest winter tradition, PNC Winterfest.
This unique outdoor ice rink is up and running for the second winter, giving you a chance to skate outdoors with unique downtown views at the corner of Fulton and Jefferson, outside the Peoria Civic Center. The rink is open until Sunday night, January 15, and is open every day with longer hours on weekends. Spectators can watch in a heated nearby tent. And for the young at heart, there’s Peoria’s only ice slide to try.
Go online to PNCWinterfest.com for more info. It’s $10 for adults with skate rentals and just $8 if you bring your own skates. For children 5 and under, it’s only $5 and includes skate rentals.
Enjoy this unique outdoor, downtown experience with family and friends and listen to GLO for your chance to win tickets (1/3-1/9). PNC Winterfest from the Peoria Park District and Peoria’s home for classic rock, 95.5, GLO.
