Another last second loss for Chicago this weekend has the Bears looking for answers as they fell to Minnesota 23-20 Sunday at Soldier Field.
“It seems like we get into a lot of these games and we’re not coming off on the winning side enough,” said Jay Cutler. “Coach Fox said it best: There are not a lot of blowouts in the NFL. You’re going to be in some tight games and you’ve got to find a way to win in the fourth quarter.”
Cutler completed 22 of 33 passes for 211 yards and had a 94.4 passer rating for the Bears who held a 20-13 lead with just under 5 minutes to go in the game. However the Bears secondary managed to give up 10 points in the final minutes even allowing a huge 35 pass from Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater to Charles Johnson to set up the game winning field goal.
Alshon Jeffery had his second 100 yard receiving game and added a touchdown in his second game back from injury. Matt Forte left the game in the second half with a knee injury.
The Bears now fall to 2-5 on the season and move on to a Monday night game against the San Diego Chargers. Catch the game here on GLO and join us down at the Bullpen Sports Bar inside the Landmark for our tailgate party!
