The Rolling Stones, the self-proclaimed greatest Rock and Roll band in the world, are getting ready to set out next month on their Zip Code North American tour. They've been selling out every U.S. tour since '75 and this is no exception. Tickets went on sale yesterday for shows in Milwaukee, Kansas City, Indianapolis, etc., and they sold quickly. If you want a ticket now, you'll probably have to go through a second party ticket dealer – and be prepared to pay exhorbitant prices.
So, while most of us won't be seeing The Stones this summer, we've got a killer weekend of their music lined up from Friday at noon until Sunday at 9 p.m. It's our first-ever Rolling Stones Satisfaction Block Party Weekend,
We'll dig into our GLO music library and crank out their huge hits and the deeper album cuts you haven't heard in forever. Three and four song sets of The Rolling Stones will kick off each hour, ideal tunes to have on as you work on the outside projects, do yardwork or fire up the grill. A Rolling Stones Satisfaction Block Party Weekend from your Rolling Stones station, 95.5, GLO.
