Some sad news, Peoria Rock fans, as NBA legend Bill Russell has passed away at the age of 88. Russell played for the Boston Celtics from 1958 thru 1969, and won a staggering 11 NBA Championships, and logged five 5 NBA MVP Awards. He is considered one of the best players to ever play in the NBA. Sad day indeed.
