Brookie is going to make someone a great dog! She’s been to bootcamp and knows all of her basic commands. She will need regular exercise, so an active family or person will be the best fit to make her the perfect addition to your home! Brookie has even been on some runs, and does fairly well for a beginner, so a runner or avid hiker would be great for her to help give her the exercise she needs. High energy dogs, such as Brookie, NEED to have exercise to be the bet pet, ideally she’ll need a fenced in yard, preferably with a privacy fence (as she has jumped smaller ones).
She does ok with small kids, but does need a home without any other pets. She’ll do well for a while, but then can be playing perfectly well and start snarling and showing her teeth. She just can not be trusted with other animals, dogs or cats. Don’t hold that against Brookie, she has a lot of love to give and desperately wants someone to love her back. She’s also reaching the point where she is not doing well in a shelter situation so its URGENT that Brookie finds a foster or an adopter.
She is around 2 years old, spayed, microchipped and current on all shots, flea and heartworm preventative!
