Today is certainly a sad day for the entertainment world, Peoria Rock fans, as iconic comedian Louie Anderson has passed away at the age of 68. He passed away from complications from cancer in a Las Vegas hospital Friday morning. Louie blazed a comedic trail with his unique every-man comedy, he was a regular on the late night talk shows in the 1970’s and 1980’s. He rose to bigger fame with his TV work, most notably his roles in the FX series “Baskets”, along with the Saturday morning animated series, “Life With Louie”, and he also hosted the game show “Family Feud.” Comedy Central named him on the of the “100 Greatest Stand Up Comedians Of All Time”, in recent years. You will be missed Louie!
