Get your green gear on and get ready to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in style on Saturday at the biggest such party in the state – at Kelleher’s Irish Pub & Eatery on Water Street, downtown Peoria.

According to alcohol retailers and distributors, Kelleher’s will pour more drinks than at any other single site in Illinois on this Irish holiday. Kelleher’s has the space on the blocked off Water Street for you to party with your friends while not being too jammed up.

There’s a tent city set up if you wanna get out of the elements, and plenty of space outdoors with live DJ’s bumping the tunes in the afternoon after the parade. Inside, grab the authentic, best Irish food and drinks this side of Dublin.

Kelleher’s opens at 8 am Saturday, prior to the downtown parade, and starts serving breakfast at 8:30 am. It’s a kid-friendly morning vibe with face painting and balloons. The partying takes off after the parade.

The Celtic Cross Bagpipers will play throughout the day, and there’s music from top Irish bands inside, including Tourist, the Irish Band. You can even win a trip to Ireland with the Boys and Girls Club Raffle.

Recently voted the number 1 Irish pub in Illinois, Kelleher’s is the place for Irish food – corned beef n cabbage n potatoes, oh my! – drinks – Irish stouts and ales – and fun people who are Irish for the day. I’ll be there broadcasting live among the crowd in the afternoon inside the tent, near the patio stairs.
