We’re sending out summer with a splash of 80’s hits this Labor Day Weekend when our fun, popular Pour Some 80’s On Me returns to GLO, sponsored by Aurelio’s Pizza in Peoria.
We break from our usual lineup of classic rock icons a bit to play the songs of the Big 80’s, the MTV era, the Decade of Decadence. You’ll still hear so many of our core, GLO classic rock bands, like Def Leppard, Guns N’ Roses, The Cars, Queen, AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Van Halen, Aerosmith, Ozzy, Foreigner, U2, etc.
But you’ll also hear some songs from your youth that you haven’t heard in some time, songs that were often one-hit wonder tunes for bands long since broken up.
So Vive La Difference this Labor Day Weekend, starting at noon on Friday and rolling to Monday night at midnight. Pour Some 80’s On Me is sponsored by Aurelio’s Pizza on Sterling in Peoria, where the sauce is the boss, and Peoria’s classic rock station, 95.5, GLO.
