Year three of the John Fox era finds the Bears trying to claw out of the NFC North Division basement, after going 3-13 a year ago. There’s no more Jay Cutler to blame for losses – he’s gone to retirement, then to the Fox TV broadcast booth, then to Miami to try to replace the Dolphins injured starting quarterback, Ryan Tannehill.

The Bears drafted quarterback Mitch Trubisky from North Carolina with the second overall pick in this spring’s draft. This, after signing free agent QB Mike Glennon, a backup QB for Tampa Bay, to a 3-year, $45 million contract to serve as a bridge while Trubisky learns while he earns.

There are a lot of unknowns on both sides of the ball, and a lot of new names and faces that will be playing prominent roles this year.
