The 23rd annual Miller Lite Grand Nationals weekend is coming to Peoria’s riverfront, this weekend, August 11 and 12, with the big TT race happening Sunday, August 13.
The headliner for the Saturday night concert this year is the Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band, best known for the steamy GLO classic rock hit, “Blue on Black.” (see below.) It’ll be a great weekend of live music, events, eats and cold Miller Lite enjoyed outdoors along the riverfront – downstate Illinois’ largest motorcycle celebration!
95.5 GLO is once again giving 10 lucky listeners the VIP treatment for Saturday. (VIP giveaway ends Mon., Aug 7). VIP’s and guest will win tickets to the Grand Nationals, plus VIP access passes to watch the show from a roped-off area close to center stage, while enjoying free food from Firehouse Pizza and ice cold Miller Lite (limited supply), plus meet and greets with some of the bands.

On Saturday, the day kicks off with the bike parade from the PMC racetrack to the downtown festival. See the bike show and custom builders, the swap meet with vendors, stunt show with Globe of Death squad, Champaign Ladies Amateur Wrestling, Karaoke contest, great food at the Peo-Taz Abate tent and, of course, plenty of Miller Lite.
Get tickets and info at GrandNationalsWeekend.com Tickets are $10 for the Friday pre-party, featuring live music sets from Brushville. On Saturday, it’s just $20, with live music throughout the day. We’re also giving away general admission tickets for the Saturday show, plus pairs for the Sunday TT races at PMC this week, Mon. 8/7 – Thurs, 8/10.
Join us downtown along the riverfront August 11 and 12 and the Sunday TT race on the 13th. It’s the 23rd annual Miller Lite Grand Nationals from Peo-Taz Abate, Jay Goldberg Events & Entertainment and Peoria’s classic rock station, 95.5, GLO.
