A couple of cool events are coming up Thursday, and you can win tickets to them from Peoria’s home for classic rock and entertainment prizes.
Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, Cheap Trick, play at the Limelight Eventplex in Peoria that night, marking the third anniversary of that mid-sized venue. Also, Thursday night, theWalters Brothers Harley Davidson Extreme International Ice Racing tour plays the Civic Center. These guys race around the hockey arena at speeds of up to 60 miles per hour, racing with no brakes, just 2,000 studs on their tires.
