Doc’s Doctrine #69: Pizza is like sex. When it’s good, it’s reeeeeally good. And when it’s bad…(pregnant pause), it’s still pretty good!
Add great pizza to your new place in Bartonville for video gaming, and you have the winning combination that is Tyroni’s Gaming Lounge (must be 21 to play) in the well-established, popular Tyroni’s Italian Cafe, 5908 S. Adams, in Bartonville. I was there with GLO radio midday today for the grand opening of the gaming lounge, and the place was a big hit. Their delicious, legendary pizza is the big draw at the lunch buffet, with about five or six different varieties to try, plus pasta, appetizers and salads included in it.
Today, as part of the gaming lounge grand opening with Prairie State Gaming, giveaways were abundant. Vickie Smith won today’s big prize: a large, flat-screen TV. The crowd of satisfied lunch diners also signed up for a Las Vegas Getaway to the Tropicana. That drawing is coming up February 23.
The new gaming lounge is a private and inviting area. It features an exclusive game – “Alice” – that you can’t find within an hour’s drive. Stop out to try your luck on the games, ranging from slots to poker, and enjoy the great food at the cozy Tyroni’s Italian Cafe in Bartonville with Peoria’s classic rock station, 95.5, GLO.
