One year ago this weekend, 95.5, GLO, Peoria’s home for classic rock, broke format a bit and debuted our first “Pour Some 80’s on Me” weekend. Response to the big 80’s weekends has been great, so we’ll send out 2016 the way we did 2015 – with fun, 80’s party tunes. Celebrate the New Year with another Pour Some 80’s weekend, beginning Friday at noon and running until the New Year, Sunday at 9 p.m.
Def Leppard, The Cars, Guns N Roses, Queen, AC/DC, Bon Jovi, White Snake, Bruce Springsteen, Motley Crue, Van Halen, Aerosmith, Ozzy, Foreigner, U2, Led Zeppelin, new Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, Journey and many more of the classic rock bands you love will be featured this weekend. But you’ll also hear songs that bordered on the rock format – songs we don’t usually play here – great party tunes that you’ll remember from the days of your youth.
Ring in the New Year with us, starting Friday at noon and running until Sunday, January 1, 2017, at 9 p.m. It’s a reprisal of our popular Pour Some 80’s on Me weekend from Peoria’s home for classic rock , 95.5, GLO.
