We had a great turnout at Cerberus Burger Bar in Peoria tonight for the conclusion of our month-long Bucket List Blast contest. Peorian Cathy Farris, who was one of our 10 last minute qualifiers, had her name drawn by night jock Andy Savage and won a boatload of tickets for shows coming up in the next couple of months.
Cathy was thrilled to claim four pairs of tickets to big rock events happening in our area. “These are all my bands,” she told me. “I saw Alice Cooper in the early 70’s.” In addition to the Alice Cooper Wednesday show at the Peoria Civic Center Theater, she also won a pair of tickets for Heart on May 17 at the i Wireless Center, Boston at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum and Kid Rock/Willie Nelson (and others) at the Tailgate N Tallboys in June at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe.
Throw in $95 for spending money, and she was a happy camper. Thanks to all of you who came out to Cerberus Burger Bar on War Memorial Drive in Peoria and thanks to Budweiser for helping to put on our latest Bucket List ticket giveaway from Peoria’s classic rock concert station, 95.5, GLO.
