The fans at the Coachella music festival in California got quite the surprise over the weekend as Guns N’ Roses brought out AC/DC’s Angus Young for a few songs, much to the delight of the crowd.
The preformed “Whole Lotta Rosie” and “Riff Raff,” which were AC/DC cuts that were once live staples for GN’R in the early days.
Also With the appearance of Young at the show, it was pretty much made official that Axl Rose has been named as the new singer of AC/DC. The band said thank you to Brian Johnson in the process, as they walked away from their singer of 36 years. The band said that they “understood and respected” his decision to stop touring to save his hearing. The band also said that Axl will jump in with the band for their European dates, and also re-scheduled U.S. tour dates that haven’t been made up as of yet. FULL STORY
