“Do you want to hold a penis?” That’s the line the John Lennon said during a Beatles recording session for “Rubber Soul” in 1965.
According to a Rolling Stone piece on the 50th anniversary of “Rubber Soul” Lennon was on his way to the bathroom while the other members of the band were working on music when he started into the classic Beatles tune “Secret,” with the parody line “Do you want to hold a penis.”
