According to my many Facebook "friends," (some of whom I've even met in person!), TV's Mike Rowe ("Dirty Jobs," "Somebody's Gotta Do it," QVC host, Ford spokesperson, etc.) has been in Peoria the past couple days. He celebrated his 53rd birthday yesterday at Jimmy's Bar on Farmington Road (missed St. Patty's there by a day) and is doing a video segment that's Caterpillar related.
Of course, relying on social media for info is sometimes less accurate than Aaron Schock's financial campaign managers. But Mike posted pictures of himself on his Facebook page, sleeping in a teenage girl's bed and getting woken up by a cat. And, no, the girl was not in the bed with him. Her family, the Deal family, allowed him to stay there while they took off on a vacation. Apparently, all the Peoria rooms were filled up for the IHSA boys basketball state finals?
Anywho, has anyone spotted Mike Rowe? Anyone commented on how he looks like me a bit?
