The Rivermen are fighting for an AHL playoff spot, and the skill, action and hitting you'll see are high level, just one step away from the NHL.  You never know which player you're watching will make it to The Show?  Take Rivermen goalie Jake Allen, who recently was called up to the parent St. Louis Blues team.  All he did was go on the road and win his first three NHL starts last week.  And he made a remarkable save (view below) against Calgary which some are saying is an early season candidate for "save of the year."
