If it weren't for severe weather warnings in the listening area, today would be a great day to be outside, listening to Peoria's Classic Rock on 95.5, GLO, and enjoying a walk, jog or bike ride. Today's temperature hit 64 degrees, which beats the previous high for January 29 by a few degrees.
However, WMBD 31 Chief Meteorologist Marcus Bailey cautions us not to get too giddy. A flood watch is in effect until tomorrow. Bailey said yesterday that we could get 2.5 inches of rain within a day's time. Add high winds and possible tornadic activitiy to the mix and things could get weather wild this afternoon and evening. Listening for Marcus and me to keep you updated if severe weather does occur.
