We're over halfway through the high school football regular season.  This week, we let fans vote on which game to feature Friday night by voting at our GLO Facebook page.  Hundreds voted at the poll, and the majority decided it wants to hear state ranked Washington put its unbeaten record on the line at Pekin.

Bruce Cowdrey and I will call the game.  Pekin senior running back Clage Dodson ran for six touchdowns last week during our game of the week in Morton.  That gives him an amazing 11 TD's in the past two weeks!  Washington has been the best team in the area thusfar, earning the #5 ranking in the AP Class 5A poll, but the Panthers are fighting the injury bug.

Friday night, we also have reporters at three other area games, plus studio host Jason Glick will update scores of all area games.  Tom Meredith covers the key Mid State 6 rivalry game between Richwoods and Notre Dame, both teams received votes in the football state polls this week.  Matt Hall will be in Dunlap for the Eagles game with Metamora, and WJBC-AM's Larry Duling will report from the Dee Mac - Ridgeview game.
