37 year old Nathan Leuthold has been arrested by Peoria Police for the murder of his wife Denise on Valentines Day.

Denise had died in what appeared to be a break in at her parents home on Mossville road. The case was taking a while to solve but police say Nathan Leuthold's behavior and evidence found at the scene make him a suspect.

"There were indication early on that he may have been involved," said Chief Settingsgaard. "It wasn't clear at the time of the offense or at the time that we were on the scene, but there were things that lead us to start to believe that it was possible that he could be the suspect."

The case is still under invetigation and anyone with information is asked to call the Peoria Police Department.
