A Peoria man has died after a self inflicted gun shot wound to the head. It happened on 1112 North East Glendale avenue last night.

The victim was 22 year old Stephen Owens.

"He was playing with the gun from the information we have at this time. We're still talking to witnesses down at the police station. He did have the gun himself and it's a self-inflicted gunshot wound, possibly doing something like a Russian roulette type of thing," said Capt. Scally of the Peoria Police Department.

Right now, there is no foul play suspected.
