"We've always wondered what happened," said his brother Michael. "Was he in an accident, did he have amnesia, was he in a witness protection program or something?"

His body was found a few years back on Mount Olympus in Utah. DNA tests have finally showed that it was indeed Noe, who had been missing since 1978. His family origanally thought he was a victim of serial killer John Wayne Gacy, who was abducting people in the area right around the time Noe went missing.

Authorites say he was hitchiking back to Northwestern University when he stoped off at the Mountain. He was an avid hiker.

I think there's a lot of relief knowing he wasn't a victim," Michael said. "He died doing something he liked."

"Knowing we were able to bring his remains home and we'll finally have closure and have a final resting place him, it's a good feeling," he said.
