Well this is something new......I read the other day that vasectomies spike by 50% during the first several days of March Madness. Doctors say the reason is that men are opting to get the surgery done during the NCAA tourney just so they can watch the games while recovering. Apparently recovering needs at least one day with ice, keeping the area cool. Not so much for the pain, but for the swelling. So, if they're going to have to do nothing for a while, they are deciding to do it while there is something to watch on TV.
I wanted to give guys are hard time about this, but it turns out I just can't. If they are going to go through this procedure.....they should absolutely be able to sit around and watch some hoops to get them through it. Just be sure you stock up on the ice first.
