After the Bears game against the 49ers ends tonight, we'll switch over to Illinois mens basketball coverage from the E.A. Sports Maui Invitational.  Illinois is off to a 3-0 start, though you may have missed the last victory, since it ended at around 2 a.m. Saturday.

Illinois traveled to face the host team from Hawaii on Friday night and found itself down by 16 points in the second half.  The Illini managed to catch up in regulation and force overtime.  In the OT, Peorian D. J. Richardson canned a 3-pointer at the buzzer to give the Illini a 78-77 triumph.  IWatch D. J. hits the corner 3-ball as time expires.

llinois faces USC tonight in another game that will tip off late, around 11 p.m. tonight.  We'll join Brian Barnhart and Peoria native and former Illini star Jerry Hester with the call as soon the Bears game is over on 95.5, GLO!
