On of my hometown heroes is in Peoria for shows this weekend at the Jukebox Comedy Club.  The Detroit native's career started in the stand up ranks and he's back doing it again with his first-ever Peoria visit.

Coulier's best known for playing "Uncle Joey" on Full House for eight seasons, but he's been popping up off and on on various shows since the 80's.  You've probably heard his voice work on animated films and TV show without knowing it's him.  And he's even taken his turn on a couple reality TV shows, MTV's third season of "Surreal Life," and "Skating with the Stars," where he was paired with nancy Kerrigan.
