This may be a bit of a broadcasting "insider" thing, but I think you'll enjoy it nonetheless.
In the wake of the Super Bowl, many of those mostly excellent TV commercial spots are starting to rotate into regular programming slots, so they're still top of mind. Many folks loved the "God Made a Farmer" TV spot, which featured a tribute to the American farmer voiced by the late radio legend Paul Harvey. As with most of these Super Bowl spots, whether entertaining or thought provoking, I can't recall what product the commercial was pitching. Radio commercial buys are a much better value....but I digress.
Any who, a Norfolk, Virginia morning radio guy borrowed the concept. He did his best Paul Harvey impression and wrote copy that nailed the life and times of the DJ, the plankton of the entertainment world. Enjoy!
