95.5 GLO is Peoria's home for classic rock and football.  Tonight, begining with the pregame at 6:30, the Red Zone Game of the Week team is in Washington for the 8-2 Panthers second round Class 5A playoff game with unbeaten Normal U-High.  Former Pirates head coach Bruce Cowdrey and I (Doc) will have the call, with our senior reporter Tom Meredith serving as sideline reporter.

Illinois travels to face unbeaten Ohio State tomorrow afternoon.  Kickoff is 2:30p.  Illibuck Trophy is on the line at The Horseshoe.  Also tomorrow, I'll be at TNT's in East Peoria from 2-4p with Coors Light, qualifying 10 more football fans for the Dream Game Giveaway.  We qualify 10 per stop during these college football viewing parties. The grand prize winner gets two tickets to the Big Ten Championship football game, Saturday night, December 1, in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium.  I'll also have a pair of Illinois-Minnesota tickets to give away at TNT's Saturday.

Sunday, the first place Bears are in Tennessee for a game with the Titans.  If you're out doing errands or yard work, listen hear (don't forget smart phone users:  95.5 GLO is also available to listen to via i Heart Radio) for the call by knowledgable Jeff Joniak and Tom Thayer.   As usual, I'll be at Sully's for the Bears Tailgate Party.  Sully's has a free food buffet from 11am til noon every Sunday during the NFL season.  We'll have Illini football tickets and Aaron will draw for a $50 Sully's gift certificate that you and your buddies can use there for the next Bears game, Sun, 11/11 against Houston.
