Parents of some Canton High School students are on edge after a death threat on Facebook was issued to a student on Wednesday.

According to Canton police,. the Facebook threat to the student said that it would "put Canton High School in the news." 

We do have an increased presence at the school and will have throughout the day,” says Chief Taylor. “We also have some additional personnel just to be sure our students are safe."

Police are saying the suspect is not a Canton High student or member of the community. They're going to hold off  on arresting anybody until they can verify the suspect was not somebody hacking into another facebook account.
