If you're a Chick-fil-a fan, the wait is almost over! The Peoria area's first ever Chick-fil-A restaurant will be opening this month! The date is set for October 25th. 

The new restaurant will be located right next to Northwoods Mall. Just in time for a great meal after some heavy Christmas shopping in the months to come. 

The new Chick-fil-A will employee about 90 new workers in the area and applications are still being accepted. 

The new restaurant will also have a new neighbor come this December as a  Chipotle Mexican Grill is also being built in the Northwoods Mall area.
