The Peoria Journal Star dedicates a large chunk of its Thursday entertainment "Cue" section today to news that Peoria is hosting a breakdancing national tournament, Saturday at an exhibit hall in the Peoria Civic Center.  

My first thought was, "I'll take Irrelevant Things from the 80's for $200, Alex."  But then again, I've never had even the smallest interest in breakdancing or anything hip hop-related.  One thing I'll concede to the breakdancers -it looks difficult.  I doubt I or most folks could do it (not that I'd want to.)  But if this floats your boat, the "Rep the Midwest" breakdancing competition begins at 2p, Saturday.  Admission is $10 for adults.  Below is a video teaching you to back spin.  In no time, you'll be impressing your grand kids!
