The Chicago Bears are searching hi and low for a new coach and even... in Canada. ESPN Chicago is reporting the Bears are in talks with Montreal Alouettes coach Marc Trestman for their head coaching position.
In five seasons with the Alouettes, Trestman led the club to three appearances in the Grey Cup, including consecutive CFL championships in 2009 and 2010 and was named the league's coach of the year in 2009.
He does have NFL experience spending time coaching in Minnesota, Tampa Bay, Detroit, Arizona and Miami. He's also worked with notable quarterbacks including Steve Young, Bernie Kosar and even Jay Cutler, helping him prepare for the NFL draft.
