We now know who will play who in the first round of the IHSA Regional Basketball Tournament. Locations and teams playing at those locations were announced at the beginning of the year, but pairings were announced this past Friday.
Here’s how area teams’ regional rounds look.
At Chillicothe (Illinois Valley Central) Regional.

(2) Peoria (Notre Dame) (14-10)
(3) Peoria Central (9-14)
(4) Dunlap
(5) Chillicothe (Illinois Valley Central)

February 25th
Game 1- (4) Dunlap VS. (5) Chillicothe (Illinois Central Valley) at 6:00
Game 2- (2) Peoria Central VS. (6) Streator at 7:30
February 26th
Game 3- (1) Metamora VS. Winner of GAME 1 at 6:00
Game 4- (2) Peoria (Notre Dame) VS. Winner of GAME 2 at 7:30
The Regional Championship game will be played on March 1st at 7:30. The winner moves onto the Peoria (Bradley University) Sectional.
At East Peoria Regional.

(2) Bartonville (Limestone) (17-8)
(3) Peoria (Manual) (16-6)
(4) East Peoria (2-19)
(5) Morton (3-20)
February 25th
