Our two, large school high school football conference championships are on the line Friday night on the final regular season week of the Super Nutrition Red Zone Game of the Week on 95.5, GLO.

In the Mid Illini Conference, Dunlap, 7-1, 6-0, is in the driver’s seat. The first place Eagles just have to beat third place Morton, 6-2, 4-2, to secure the title alone. If Dunlap slips up and loses and Pekin beats Limestone, Dunlap and Pekin would tie for the title. The Morton-Dunlap game is our main Red Zone game of the week, with the pregame starting at 7p Friday. Tony Johnson and I will call the action from Dunlap.

In the Big Twelve Conference, 7-1, 7-0, Normal Community is in the cat bird’s seat. The first place Ironmen can clinch the championship with a win at Peoria Stadium against the 7-1, 6-1 Peoria Lions. If the Lions pull off the win, they’ll grab a piece of the championship. Tom Meredith will be there to call some live play by play and give us scoring updates. And we’ll also track down all the other scores on the final night of the regular season, telling you who’s likely to be in IHSA playoffs the following week.
