Steely Dan Quad Cities Tickets On Sale Now [VIDEO]

For decades, the hit-making duo of Walter Becker and Donald Fagen – better known as Steely Dan – did not tour. Steely Dan was really a studio group, headed by Becker and Fagen, with rotating, elite session musicians added to the mix as needed. In 1974, they quit touring and became a studio band only.

So, even though they finally reunited to start touring again in ’93, it was a musical treat. Still, many of us haven’t seen Steely Dan live. Tickets are on sale today (3/8) for their show, Wednesday, September 4 at the Taxslayer Center in Moline. Click HERE for tickets. You can charge by phone by calling: 1-800-745-3000.

Walter Becker passed award in September of 2017, but lead singer Donald Fagen brings the Steely Dan hits and exquisitely-crafted sound on the road this year. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers have sold over 40 million albums, and their list of hits is lengthy, but who doesn’t love, “Reelin’ in the Years,” Rikki, Don’t Love That Number,” “FM (No Static at All), “Hey Nineteen,” etc. My personal favorite song is one that’s appeared on Doc’s Deep Dive at 6:15p: “My Old School.”

We are giving away a couple pairs of Steely Dan tickets through Classic Rewards at this site, and some on air soon, too. See Donald Fagen and Steely Dan, September 4 at the Taxslayer Center in Moline, from 95.5, GLO.
