And come Tuesday, the day of his final Peoria performance at sold-out Carver Arena inside Peoria’s Civic Center, we’ll roll Bob Seger 2-fers into our usual 2-fer Tuesday format, at the top of every hour. Get ready for the show all day long by listening to songs from the guy who’s in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame, the latter probably being the more exclusive group.

It took Seger about a decade of being mainly a Detroit and/or minor regional talent before his break-through year. In 1976, his Live Bullet album and Night Moves albums went platinum on the same day. The world, finally, had discovered Bob, and super-stardom awaited the hard-working, heavy-touring, rock n’ soul singer and song writer. 50 million albums sold later, he’s one of rock’s icons, a Midwest hero and – maybe best of all – still a humble, nice guy.
