After triumphantly touring the country on the 40th anniversary of the “Leftoverture” album (they wowed Peoria, last April 1, 2017), Kansas is doing it again to celebrate its “Point of Know Return” album.  Kansas returns to the Peoria Civic Center Theater on Saturday, March 9, 2019, playing Point of Know Return in its entirety, plus their other hits and deeper cuts, too.

Having seen them on their Leftoverture anniversary tour, I can attest that this band sounds damn near record perfect, after all these years. Original members Rich Williams and Phil Ehart remain to keep the sound just as you remember off their albums, but only live!  Lead singer Ronnie Platt soars on vocals, and David Ragsdale lights it up on electric violin on just about every song.

You’ll hear the entire Point of Know Return album, featuring hits like, “Dust in the Wind,” “Portrait (He Knew),” “Lightning’s Hand” (A Doc’s Deep Dive song) and the title track. Check out the video below that shows Kansas play on April Fool’s night, 2017, their last visit here.
