It took a couple years long than expected, but U2 has dropped its new album, Songs of Experience, and was busy promoting it this past weekend in New York City. This is the Irish band’s 14th studio album and is the companion album to its 2014 album, Songs of Innocence.

U2 played two songs during their Saturday Night Live appearance. The first: “American Soul,” was the first time they’ve played it live. The second: “Get Out of Your Own Way.” Both songs reference rapper Kendrick Lamar, who I have no interest in learning about. Give ’em a listen below.
