Former Chicago Bear Charles Tillman has retired. He played 12 seasons for the Chicago Bears before being released and then signing with the Carolina Panthers. However, Injuries plagued the last few years of his career and finally caught up with him as he announced his retirement on Monday.

Tillman, who’s nickname with the Bears was “Peanut” was a master of being able to strip the ball from players by punching it out, which became known as the “Peanut Punch.”

He announced his retirement by making a great video of him slapping objects out of people’s hands, which he has become famous for.

One of the best retirement announcements ever. In his 13 year career with the Bears and Panthers, he had 44 career forced fumbles and 38 interceptions.
